All I can say is...

I am so glad that we have such a patient cat!! As I was making dinner I heard Eliana chatting away with Maka. I didn't think anything of it until I took a peek in the living room. Poor Maka was just sitting in the sun minding her own business as Eliana layered her with one thing after another. As if there weren't enough things covering her, Eliana decided that Maka needed a blanket as well. Maka just sat there the whole time. She even stayed under the blanket for another 5 minutes or so. What a sweet and patient cat!!

The look on Maka's face says something other than "patient" to me! This was hysterical and a great way to end my day. I can see Eliana made sure Maka had a thorough checkup at the kitty doc!!!

Maybe I should have used the word longsuffering... Isn't that how Christ is with us when we keep doing things He doesn't want us to do? Was Maka showing longsuffering for Eliana?! :)

yes, I think that would be correct. Poor Maka, it can be a tough lesson in theology when a nearly 3 year old is in your midst!!! I know it can be for me with a sassy 2 1/2 year old most days!

Ah, sweet Maka. She always was a sweetie. Our poor cat just runs away when Chase is in the room. He's at the age where he just want's to pet her but his petting isn't so gentle and now that he's crawling, he likes to chase her into corners.
